So...when was the last time you ordered them.  When I went to the mail box today, there was a note saying where you could order them in the park, (I live in a mobile home park) and the phone number.  I took the phone # and called and ordered two boxes of cookies, Thin Mints and Short Bread.  They are now $4 a box, I haven't had them for many years.  The girl even came to my trailer and gave them to me.

When was the last time you ate them???

We don't have "Girl Scouts" in Canada. Here it is called "Girl Guides."

When I was in Girl Guides back in the 1970's, the cookies we sold were "Animal Crackers."  Not a very popular thing, and they were hard to sell.  We mostly got "pitty sales!"  lol

Now they sell cookies are are more Oreo cookie-like.   2 fudge or vanilla cookies stuffed with either chocolate or vanilla icing.

Every once in awhile someone at work will help their kid sell cookies. The last time I came across them was a couple years ago.

Hmm, I don't know if I've ever gotten them direct from a Girl Scout, LOL. They have them in stores now. I like the ones with coconut and caramel. . .Samoas?

I ordered some from the BF's step sister last year, but I probably won't get any this year. My favorites are Samoas (or whatever the Girl Scout group call them now), and I can buy them at Walmart for $2.50/box. They're called Coconut Dreams by Keebler there.

I also like Thin Mints, but those can be had as Grasshoppers by Keebler as well :lol3:

When I was a girl scout for a few months many years ago, my uncle bought an entire case of Thin Mints from me.

I LOVE The Samoa's. Yum!

I only order them from my niece (soon Nieces as the other joined!).

What drives me nuts is when the scouts park themselves in front of the supermarket doors and beg you to buy a box! Same for other charity groups too.

I usually only see them selling cookies outside of a grocery store. What ever time a year that is, can never remember, because I don't get any at my house, so am happy to see them when I do.

I love the samoa's too, also the the peanut butter sandwich cookies & thin mints!  Yum!!  Does this mean it's "cookie selling season?!"

I got some 2 weeks ago from outside the grocery.  I got online and ordered a few boxes(...) cause I know they will not come to the house and I rarely go to grocery store when the kids are there(weekends.)

Geez, it's been years! Rick gets them at work, but he keeps them in his truck (he usually takes his lunch break in his truck, so he can take a quick nap). What I don't see, I don't eat.

It's been a long time.  If I see the Girl Scouts at the grocery store, I will definitely get myself a couple of boxes of cookies.
