We joined a week ago and wanted to stop by and say hello to all my fellow kitty lovers and kitties!

Me and my fiance have 7 indoor cats - Spike Lee (5), Taffi (5), Lily (3), Rascal (2), DeeGee (7mo), Zen (7mo), and Shasta (5mo) ...

And 3 outside cats - Mittens (5mo), Bubba (5mo), and Momma Kitty (mom to shasta, mittens, & bubba)

I love cats and have been very active in rescuing, TNR, and socializing feral since I moved into my new neighborhood last year. There were so many abandoned kitties it was heartbreaking. I am trying to work to change the way feral cats are treated in my county and by the owners of my community. Its a struggle...
But worth every second.

I am also trying to learn more about feeding my kitties healthier and improving their lives.

I Love this site and am amazed at some of the great information I have found so far. I look forward to chatting with you all!

Kisses & Scratches,

Hi Jess,

I think I am kindered soul.  I also am a newbie, I will message you later.  getting ready for bed!  I have 4 indoor kitties and 5 plus outdoor babies/feral.  I also feed ferals and catch and fix.  Is that TNR?

Anyway I live in a neighborhood, we have a 1/4 acre lot with green space  so my ferals have roo to roam and are pretty good about "coming home" at meal time, I make sure to feed them at the same time morining and night.

I also donate monthly to 2 different no kill shelters.  My birthday and Christmas presents from my husband!  Love Him!

Thank you all for your responses. I would love to meet some fellow cat lovers in my area. I dream of making a change in the way feral and/or abandoned cats are treated here.

Have a great day!

Jeannie,

Hey! Nice to meet you too! Yes, TNR mean trap, neuter, and return. Thats awesome that you are helping those kitties that need it. I wish more people would. I wish I could afford to do more myself... But I do as much as I can. Well I hope to ttys!
