How many cats do you have? why? Just curious. and the last questions do you have children (not furry)
Because i want to see anyone of you who have lots of cats and more than 2 kids. I will ask a few questions eventually.

5 non furry kids: 7, almost 6, almost 5, and twins that are a year old today(sob sob sob). I've got 1 kitty, another one coming that's not old enough to leave mom, and a great big dog that needs a bath.

wow you have 5 kids! Okay, you ll have two cats soon. But how do you feel if you adopt more than 2 cats when you have 5 kids?

I have two kids, 2 years old and 2 months old. I have two furry boys(cats) i am very tempted to adopt more cat. I only worry about my 3 years old furry boys (cats) will feel threated and will possibly make something like peeing or spray as trespass in the house. I am soo paranoid! Tavish always manage to get away from my kids. If my kids are sleeping then Tavish will walk by them and sniff on them. Jude does not mind them but my daughter 2 years old tend to kick Jude for no reasons. I have been teaching her not to hurt cats whatever. Ok Jude usually gets up and walk out on her. Like he talked to himself "what is her problem?"
Jude still sleeps next to her on the bed though! Jude is looking for warm therefore my daugher's blanket is warm for Jude to be there.
I am very confused about wait till one of my cat die but they will stay alive for a long time.
i really love to have more cats but 2 kids or cats feel threated. Thats why i ask about you who have lots of cats that makes me wonder if you have kids. How do you manage with furry kids and non furry kids.

5 fur kids - can't have more due to Sugarly's behavioural problems. No real kids unfortunately.

Well, my kids help alot around the house. It's not so much a time issue as it is a space issue. Especially with all the twins equipment, two highchairs, two walkers, going to be setting up two toddler beds in a few months(we only have one crib, they love sleeping next to each other) We feel like we have room for one more kitty, but just couldn't fit anymore in here! Ok, well the cat would fit but the extra stuff wouldn't.

From the kitty point of view I can't really help you much. My cat is the first cat I've ever owned! From the kid/mommy standpoint: You might want to wait until you're daughter is better about not kicking. She could really hurt a kitten by accident without meaning to and that would be heartbreaking for both of you. The two month old isn't going to really care either way
but lemme tell ya, I've rescued Simon(my kitty) from Charlie's version of "loving" on him more than once. Charlie is enchanted by Simon's tail and seems positive it must taste good. He's never had a chance to find out, as I'm on guard every time they're in the same room together. Funny thing is Simon just keeps going back for more, Charlie will grab him, I'll rescue him and five minutes later he's back rubbing on him. Samantha(Charlie's twin) is much gentler and is content to have Simon rub on her without grabbing him.

There's no place like home
I have 14 indoor cats and current outdoor feral count of about 8 (the regulars), along with a very tolerant hubby. No human children, but hope to "save" a dog or 2 next month when we get back from vacation.

Hello Everyone,

I have three grown children 28, 26, and 22, and they are all out of the house. As for kitties- I have Kirby, a manx, that is 12 years old, Angel, a manx that is 1 1/2 years old, Mazie, a tabby 1 1/2 years old, and A Yorkshire Terrier named Gabe 1 1/2 years old. I also have 4 foster cats all males their names are Cooper, Cosmo, Puddy and Drake. Cooper is a white domestic medium hair, and the three kittens are Ragdolls, 2 grey and one buff color. I love all my babies.
