I think my cat is pregnant she is a stray we took in but won't come in the house she prefers outside she has become very large in the Belly area but has no nipples I have to say she is probably almost due and now she will actully come inside I'm worried because she has no nipples and I cannot afford a vet bill right now any suggestions as far as if she's pregnant

It's concerning that you can't afford a vet bill, if she needs a c-section you will surely be in trouble. Raising a litter is also very expensive, the amount of food and litter used is massive.

Is there a shelter you can turn her over to? Or perhaps partner with so you foster her and raise the litter and they'll take care of the vet bills, including vaccinating and neutering the kittens before placement.

An unspayed cat outside is almost always pregnant, however there are other health issues that can cause a large stomach such as worms.

Agree with MM.

Anyway, if it is feasible for you to take her in, please do so. Especially if you suspect she is high preg.

If she is used to be homeless, she may survive outside. But the kittens will tend to become semiferales or even ferales...

The best way to stop that bad circle is to take her in, and thus easily foster the kittens.  (and spay her etc...).

Possible is she isnt very near. When they are near, the lick off the hairs around the tits, and the private parts. they tend also to themselves loosen up.

It may be because it is still winter, she instinctively waited with this lick of to the last moments.

If she is high preg, she will accept to be taken in to a friendly home. Even if she is a semiferale.  They know their kittens to come must have the best possible chance.

And if she isnt preg?  She will need deworming and fostering anyway...

Tx for caring!

Good luck!
