kitty loves me most when in the bathroom!

what is that?! many of my cats through the years have been the most affectionate when i'm in the bathroom. my newest Tootie is obsessed with showering me with affection in the b.r. when not in there, she loves me, but the affection and rubbing really only happens

there. she's such a weirdo. she can't get enough of me in and doesn't care when i'm out. anyone experience this?

This is pretty common. All four of ours seem to likens best there, too. Captive audience?

Hi, welcome to TCS!  Daisy follows me to the bathroom but she is trying to outsmart me; she wants to drink water from the drain in the tub. 

the difference in her actions is so different from toilet to tv room. i thought of the captive audience thing but when i sit in a regular chair blankly staring out waiting, no response. even first thing in the morning when she sees me, she gets excited. her back does a weird quivering thing. i go to pet her and she jets to the bathroom, waiting for me to follow. she is such a sweet lil weirdo.

I cant say ive noticed any difference in the behaviour between rooms haha

My two cats do the same thing. They will only come in one at a time, so one waits his turn around the corner! I think they are so happy to finally see someone up in the morning, they rush right in to be petted. My oldest male, Burt, goes into the bathroom when my husband showers, and meows until he gets a 'rubdown' with the damp towel.He'll sit outside the door and stare until he's let in. I take baths, so they don't want to be with me!

My girls just love the BR. I cant go in there with out them. They can be sleeping in another room but they always find me. a bunch of crazy kittens LOL!!!  Cleo loves drinking from the sink, she waits for me to run water for her. Molly loves play in the tub, she will also lay in the tub to bathe herself. we have half bath down stairs off the livingroom. Cleo thinks it her room. You gotta let her in or she will keep meowing at the door till you let her in.

lol Look how cute she looks! adorable. Yeah Ella loves the bathroom too... Well only if me or her dad is in their lol. Even when I'm showering. She like our guard lol. & she'll even brush up against our legs when we JUST get out of the shower lol weird.
