It's great to go away but it's a hassle coming home.
Spent 1 1/2 hrs at the motor vehicle bureau renewing my drivers license. They want your life story. I needed to show my passport, social security card and two bills that had my name and address. The only good thing is that it's good for 8 years.
Then hit the madness at Costco since we had to stock up on meats, etc. I don't know about anywhere else, but here in SW Florida it's unbelievable during "season". All the snowbirds were shopping and some of our winter residents are so rude. And since Paul has absolutely no patience with them, I just can't wait to get out of there. On second thought the "snowbirds' probably say that the full time residents are rude!
Anyway, the fridge is stocked up, I now have my 8 year drivers license, and life is getting back to normal.
