Our names are Missy and Peeps and we used to be just two girls in a houseload of boys, but the boys were all pretty long in the tooth, so we kept them jumping until they gradually disappeared one by one.
Now, it's just the two of us and our human family. Things have been rough lately what with the new diet and no one to jump except each other. We've been fighting, and it's been disturbing our human friends. It makes the little one cry, not because we hurt him but because we scare him with our loud screeches. And when that happens, our big momma gets upset with us.
Anyhow, the oldest on of us is Missy. She's a torbie/tortie with lots of tortietude for her human family, but not so much when dealing with Peeps. She's a little overhelmed and angry with all the sudden aggression, but maybe she's starting to get a feel for how to deal with Peeps all the time - just keep facing her down ... and growl.
Peeps is our younger half. She's a bit too chubby for her own good, and a bit angry about being put on a diet. She also misses her favorite playmates, Gizmo and Fritz. Missy just isn't any fun because she thinks she's being attacked and just wants to be left alone all the time. And while Big Momma tries to play with me, it's just not the same. Maybe someday Missy will stop being such a stick in the mud.
