I decided on a Subaru Impreza, mainly due to the reliability factor, reviews, and all-wheel drive--I live on a veritable mountain, and I'm tired of worrying about the snow:

This is the exact model and color I bought today. It was the one I was researching online.  I didn't get exactly the price I hoped for, but I'm happy. I love this car. It handles well, I can feel the tires hugging the road, it's roomier than my Neon, and the trunk is larger.  Nice, nice, nice!

Thank you for all of your help and advice this past week! I appreciate it.

Very nice - congratulations! My father used to have a Subaru wagon where you could switch from 2-wheel to 4-wheel drive. It was great in snowy Pennsylvania.

Nice! I like the color, and I like Subarus.

I want a Subaru Forester, in charcoal gray. They were having a 0% financing deal at the end of December but I didn't manage to get to the dealership in time :(.

Thanks! BTW, Subaru is having 1.9% until 1/31, but only for a 36 month term. I ended up with 2.9%, for 72 months.

Yeah, the 0% was for 36 months, too. It really jacks up the payment, but at least it would be paid off faster. I didn't know they were having a 1.9% deal. . .maybe I'll make it in this month ;). I have some incentive to get around to it soon because I told my brother he can have my Civic and his car just broke down. . .
