I found 2 lumps on my cat (nearly 6 yrs old), one on her stomach near a nipple about a 2 weeks ago and another under her front leg, essentially her armpit, about a week ago. I took her to the vets after findning the first lump and they tried antibiotics but when that made no change and I found the 2nd lump, they recommended that she have them both removed and sent to the lab for testing. They gave me the option of a blood test before which I took.

The vet rang with the results today and told me she has elevated liver counts and white blood cell counts. As a result the vet has recommended that she be put onto a drip whilst under anesthetic to reduce risk. To top it all off I found another lump today on the other side of her stomach.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had anything similar with their cat because I'm just always worrying about her and thinking worst case scenario.

Thanks

ginge87- I'm so, so sorry you are having to go through this. It must have been terrifying to find those lumps. Good for you for getting her into the vet quickly though. I'm sorry I don't have any personal experience that will help but I am sending all my vibes to you and hoping that it's not the worst case scenario and that she makes a quick recovery.

Hang in there!
