Ellie still does not like Troy, our new dog, and will hiss and swipe when she gets the chance. I have given Troy a large basket in the living room near my chair, so he has a 'safeplace' and I think the cats know now not to go into it. But on Friday I noticed Troy was not in the basket but Ellie, sitting in the middle in full possession. I looked round for Troy before removing her, but as I turned back to her she was lying in the basket shaking all over, her legs going 19 to the dozen. My heart almost stopped - I was reaching for the telephone to inform the vet I was coming in with a cat who was in a fit, when she turned over, and she was 'killing' Troy's rubber ball by rabbit-kicking as hard as she could with her back legs! I had not seen the ball as it is black, like her. Having taken out all her feelings on the ball, she stepped daintily out of the basket and proceeded to wash herself. But it took longer than that for me to calm down.

:lol3::lol3::lol3: Poor you! Is Troy going to have enough self-confidence to take back his ball now that Ellie has claimed it (and his bed)?
