Rapunzel - if I have over allocated to you, let me know and I will try to drum up more volunteers.

Rapunzel Entrees - breakfast - 4 pages
Rapunzel Entrees - beef/pork - 8 pages
Rapunzel Entrees - poultry - 8 pages
Rapunzel Entrees - meatless - 5 pages
Rapunzel Entrees - pastas - 5 pages
Rapunzel Entrees - Seafood - 4 pages

For a deadline, I will suggest that you return these to me in about 2 weeks (10/22). Will this give everyone enough time?
That looks doable. I have a week's vacation smack in the middle of that time, with some ferry trips to amuse myself on -- prime time for this sort of thing!
Looking forward to seeing the goodies.

rapunzel - Can you PM your e-mail address? I can't attach the cookbook within the TCS e-mail thread.

Thanks!

All sections have been emailed out today. If you have any questions, it will need to wait until Monday when I get back from my wild family reunion/wedding in Austin.

Have a great weekend all!

...to all those who have responded to my editing questions about your recipe submissions. There are 4 messages to which I have not had responses, and I think the submissions were in old threads -- perhaps some are not active members -- I haven't checked that. Anyway -- if you're reading this, Debra Myers, Airprincess, Nenners, Bundylee, please drop me a note. Thanks.

Fran has proofed all the entree recipes (that was a BIG section) and I'm about 75% thru the miscellaneous sections. We're making progress, although probably slower than we should.

So who is going to take it from us once we have the proofing done? Sorry, I've been away from the logistics for a while and can't remember what is next anymore!!

Good thing you bumped this up. Everyone who was doing their part on this should think about wrapping this up soon so we can get it posted online for sale!!

Actually, I think once it is proofed and ready to go, it all comes to me.
Then I put the whole thing, with that yet-un-finished cover, into a PDF and then we figure out how to distribute it.
(I think Mary Anne was going to handle that since she works directly with CWSI).

I just sent back the editted cookies and desserts section. Hopefully it'll be okay.

Thank you! I was going to send out reminders tomorrow. I will try to pull all the sections back together over the weekend.

I was just told by Momofmany to post here...I told her that I could help out with some stuff. I can do a little right now, but as of December 6th, I can do a lot more! If someone needs help, please let me know! I would love to be apart of this since I didn't have a recipe to submit!!

Thanks!

I have a question, and we need to make an announcement in the Cat Lounge in less than 24 hours.

I just got the cookbook pages from Amy - and they look GREAT!!! I love the way it is set up.

But, because of the way it is set up (with no recipes breaking between pages, which is great IMO - much more conducive for people who are printing pages as they need them), some pages have a lot of white space. I think some kitty pics would spruce this up.

At one point we had talked about charging people a very nominal fee to put pictures of their Rainbow Bridge cats as a tribute to them. Thing is, I can use a LOT of photos so I'm wondering if we should do it like that or just have anyone submit picture(s) of their cats (RB or not). Do we charge everyone? Do we even charge at all?

Time is of the essence if we want to get this out by around December 1, still in time for Christmas.
Opinions please!

Well, for the first part of the question, (if just RB kitties or any/all should be used), if you want to open it up to those with RB kitties first, I can understand why. But if you don't have enough pictures with just those, I also can see why people with cats they have currently (myself included) would like those kitties in it as well. I know once I buy the cookbook, I'll be keeping it for well, forever, and I would never mind seeing my little Spike's picture when I went looking for recipes.

I don't know really how to answer the charging part of it. If it's a nominal fee, I don't see anything terribly wrong with charging to put a picture in. I couldn't guess what too much to charge is though. I don't think I'm going to be much help there, sorry.
