...on daily basis?

--

Question on the side: This week I was really sick and tired and barley moved out of my bed and my lovely cat won't leave my side. After 4 days I noticed my cat making a strange meow. Like very squirly sqweecky like I really don't like I though he could be depressed for me being sick and sleeping but then it continued even when he yawns. I thought he had a hairball stuck in his throat. Then 3 days later I noticed him scratching his right ear more than usual and the flap was down a little. I don't if there's a relation between the sound and his ear.

I will go see the vet but I need to know.

A vet will be able to give you an answer that none of us can. Sounds like she might have an infection, but only the vet can determine that!

Keep us posted on what the vet says!

I 2nd what Draco is saying. I am glad you are taking your kitty to the vet.  Starbuck was acting like that when she had an ear infection as a baby. Starbuck also had a cold and the noise you mentioned sounds like coughing.  She was doing that before she started sneezing.

My new kitten Apollo was scratching his ears and chin slightly but not making any noises.  It turned out he had ear mites,  He has been on ear drops for 14 days and is doing better.  Apollo also had a cold but was barely sneezing at all.  I mentioned it to the vet a long with itching.  I had not had Apollo for very long and he was not acting sick.  I actually thought the sneezing was him adjusting to his new litter.

I am also wondering if the noise your kitty is making is a cough. You may also want to ask the vet if this is the beginning of a cold.  Is your baby sneezing at all?

Hello everyone and thanks for your replies.

Sorry I'm late but here's the news: Nothing serious with my cat *phew* just a little extra wax in one ear.

And the scratching thing is normal.
