My lovely Sukkar has ended her struggle on 13th Jan 2013 with lung cancer and now she is in better place. Sukkar whom had a health issue was probably related to family genes.
Sukkar was found as stray cat after her mother dumped her when she was about 4-5 weeks old. I picked her up and took care of her until we both came very close. She likes to spent time with me and she always was around me and her favorite place to be is the computer mouse pad where she follow my finger tips. She knew how to find her way into the heart of others, not just me, she also found her way to befriended with my older cat. She used to follow her everywhere till they got accustomed to each others. Lynn used to jump on the top of the cloth closet to avoid her.
In her last days, she got thin, weak and less lively. Visited the vet many times but with no use. On last day, I took a leave from work after noticing that she was in pain every time she breath. Took her to the vet and he had gave her shots and he even gave me home shots to give her on the next day. On the night, I was laying on my bed, she moved to me though all of her struggle and sat on my chest as she was telling me: "Soon..." I took her again to the vet but he told me that he cannot do anything for today. I carried her home tried to feed her, but she was refusing it badly and her mouth stand still. Before I went to bed, I was sitting browsing the Internet and she jumped between my lab. She took a look into my eyes, and it was a sad eyes and yet it was calm. That look could let rocks burst into tears. I let her stayed on my lab, kissed her and I went to bed. The next morning I woke up, rushed into the fridge to take the shot and opened the door where my kittens sleeps and found her laying there in her bed peacefully, But, she wasn't moving or breathing.
I stood in silent with tears in my eyes...
RIP Sukkar
Life without you is not sweet.
