Size doesn't mean a whole lot. Many big girls have litters of 1-3, and girls who look smaller will have 5-7.

I think 3 or 4.

I am kind of shocked when I see the pics. She was such a tiny thing before she got pregnant! I hope it is a small litter! If not, I will still be a proud g-ma!

You want at least 3, any less than that can be a pain with the girls loosing interest and not raising them.

Won't be much longer. She can't keep them in forever

I saw you had said something about that in someone else's post. I'm pretty sure that there is at least three in there... New development... Licking, licking, always licking!!! Ahhh!

I'm rooting for tomorrow. It's almost midnight here so hopefully things will start progressing AFTER the kids get off to school at 7. By the way, I saw the pics of your babies. They are all so beautiful!

Was that to me? Thank you if it was

Right Molli, cross those legs for the next few hours
Yes that was to you, and your welcome! Woke up this morning and Molli has just nibbled. She got up sometime in the middle of the night and crawlers under the blankets and pressed up against me. Last night my partners dog Buddy started howling in his sleep and Molli ran to him and started grooming him and acting very concerned. Her mommy instincts are kicking in!

Thanks, I wasn't sure. Have a lovely litter of five 2 week olds beginning to climb out their bed and go exploring in the kitten pen

Molli is really keeping you guessing isn't she

That is so exciting! Molli really is keeping me guessing, she has slept all day and woke up meowing. She is not a very vocal cat so it concerned me. Then she rubbed up on me and walked away. Not a peep since. She is getting used to her food, water and litter box being in the closet with all the bedding. I was wondering if it is normal for a pregnant queen to poop a lot. She is STILL just nibbling so I am confused about how she has that much in her! I have checked it and it seems to be health cat poop ie. No raunchy smell, no worms, no diarrhea or super loosies. Is that her body getting rid of everything before she gives.birth or is that unusual?

Mine don't use the tray any more than normal, they do tend to have a loose stool shortly before labour begins though.
I wouldn't worry much about it, since its normal consistency

No longer normal consistency since about an hour ago. She had a small and loose one that stunk up my bedroom. Had to run out. BLECH!

She just started REALLY grooming around her nipples and licking her nether regions. My daughter out of the blue said "Mom, the kittens are coming at 4 in the morning." Don't know where she got that from, kids crack me up! Lol

Normal lol

Tomorrow she'll have them I think. Hopefully for your sake your daughter is wrong and it's a more respectable hour :)

It just shocked me! I have never smelled something like that come from her lol. I'm getting bad, I follow her to the litter box every time she goes. She has not pooped since that last time.

Hopefully my daughter is not right and she has them during the day. I am not an early morning person. I'll have to make a HUGE pot of coffee if she does have them that early :/

Great. At least I have someone to prepare me for it:) I wonder what people think when they don't know what they are doing or don't have someone with experience to clue them in. I would probably be right back here saying OMG! The stench! What is wrong? LOL

Seriously! I didn't stop one of my fosters from eating all the placentas and she ate 7 of them. Nastiest poop ever, it was red and disgusting!
