Hi,
For those who haven't seen my post in the neewbie section, Blanc was a stray for about 4 or 5 years, and it shows. Example: His ears are all pink and bit and cut up ect. My grandparents took him for about 4 or 5 years and both couldn't drive and nobody in my family cared for him so...he never went to the vet before we got him...althought grandparents took the best care of him as they could (grandparents passed away). He had escaped from their place many times and came back with his face and neck completely ripped off....So he got tested, had nothing not even worms. However he got a rotten tooth pulled out and had a big ear infection that is FINALLY, after many treatments, going away. Got his shots and got fixed as well.
Now he is a strong cat, eats well, poops and pees well and seems very comforted and happy, only thrown up a little bit once. But I have to keep in mind his immune system might have been affected through all those years????????
What do you guys think? Will my big loved Blanc tough through the years or is there a big ammount of chances something goes wrong...??
He is an old cat 9 or 10 (as the vet estimated)...what can I do to put more chances on his side...do old cats need alot of exercise, or special diet? I feed him vet, expensive dry food that assure good dental health+fancy feast cans......
Any tips to keep this old, amazing cat healthy??
THANKS CAT LOVERS YOUR ANSWERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED
