What's your favorite moment with your cats?

What's something that you do with your cats (Their decision or yours), that you really look forward to? That moment you LOVE?

With me:

Monet: I look forward to going to bed every night, because I know it's the only time Monet would snuggle with me. He's a night-time snuggler. He'd stay curled up against me the entire night.. and if I happen to roll on my back, he'd take that opportunity to hop on my chest and demand midnight loving!

Cassie: When I settle down on the couch to watch TV, Cassie hops onto my chest and purrs deeply. SHe lets me hug her close and we'd nap together too!

When I make my coffee at night Bailey comes to lay on my lap. He curls up and purrs really loud, kneads me and suckles his tail. He looks up every once in a while and rubs his head against my face.

Grover curls up next to me when I get in bed. He always lays down so that his head is laying on my hand. If I move the tiniest bit he will re-position himself so he is just as close as he was before. He gets really happy and drools a little bit.

I like this question. I just fell in love with my cats all over again. I'm looking forward to reading other replies.

Darko is like Monet.  He loves bedtime because that's when he has me all to himself.  He loves to lay right beside me while I'm reading, but his routine he always the same.  First he comes up and kneads on my stomach and starts drooling.  Then he lays down always on my left side with his head on my shoulder and his left leg over my thigh.  I swear it's like he's a little human!  Then my heart just melts when he tilits his head back and looks at me while purring, then puts his little paws up to my book like he wants me to read out loud to him .  It's just too cute!

With Stinkpot, sometimes when I lay down on the couch (which I don't do too often or I'll fall asleep ), he'll jump up and lay in the crook of my neck and start kneading on my face.  Makes DH so jealous, 'cause he has never, ever done it to him. 

Another thing I always look forward too is at treat time, because THEY have so much fun.  We make a game of getting treats.  It all started to keep "the boys" away from Sven so he could have his treats in peace, and after he died we just kept it up.  We toss their treats as far away as we can, then they chase them down.  They LOVE it.  Sometimes we toss them up high, sometimes we skitter them across the floor, sometimes in one direction, sometimes in another, and they just get so excited that Stinkpot will actually chatter (like when he's bird watching).  It's so much fun for all of us that I hate to stop.

Oh, lest I forget Callie, she is DH's cat 100%, even though I adopted her, but she has such a bond with him it's really unbelievable.  You know how they say cats won't really look you in the eye.  Callie just stares at him talking up a storm  when he's petting her!  It's so cute.  Like "more Daddy, more pets."  And when he gets up to leave (she only likes to be petted on the kitchen floor) she follows him to the dining room trilling all the way like "PLEASE Daddy, MORE PETS"   And he says "come in here to the couch and you can have all the pets you want", and she comes in and lays on arm of his couch, but no one better dare touch her!  Then whenever he gets up to refill his glass or get a snack or anything, she's right there in the kitchen with him, trilling for more pets.  But from him only.  When I'm in there I'm apparently invisible

when my cat Lunchie is cuddling with me...he likes to knead on my chest..can be painful...he weighs 13 pounds....

then he goes to my left side and puts his sweet little face on my left shoulder...and once in a blue moon he'll let out a big sigh or even something that sounds like a big sob......

I'm not sure what his weight should be......maybe a little less. maybe change his food up.....

That's the best thing in the world....

It's so cute when Abby "herds" me over to the sofa so we can sit together.

I guess it would be when I'm finally sitting down to watch TV in the evening under a blanket and Autumn joins me.  She starts purring like crazy and lays her head in my lab and finally falls asleep.  This is our time together and we both enjoy it.

with my two cats i love bed time, whichever one gets under the covers and lays right next to me, totally flat out, looking up at me. i feel so privelaged that they choose to come and be with me like that, its just lovely.

a particular special moment occured when little trio really was very little, he got under the covers and i kept him close so he wouldnt fall off the end of the bed. however, as it was the summer i was sleeping with no top on ate and he did the funniest/cutest/weirdest thing ever, and actually tried to suckle from me!!!!! it was really cute, but i was also so weirded out by it, he did it quite a few times over the next few weeks, bless him, i guess he didnt know i was male!

my other half seems to really like when shelby lies on her in the night, no matter how she rolls about in the night, shelby always manages to kind of "ride it out" and saty right at the top, like something you would see at a circus! as for trio, she always says she loves to hear him making his cute little noise he does when hes running around, its like a sort of warbling, chuntering sound, i have heard guinea pigs make very similr noises, and i agree with her, its very cute!

When I watch TV,  there are nine cats and a large dog ready to merge on my body or near by.

It is very warm.

In bed too there are people lying around me.

My Mother wanted to buy me an electric blanket for Christmas once... What for? I have all these free running warming blankets. I am plenty warm. I can't even run the furnace too high.

Nothing better when you get to visit with cats.

I also like walking with a cat and they place their tail in your hand as we walk. Its like holding hands.

My favourite with Pushkin is almost any time I lie down. He'll come running up for cuddles and is just so snuggly and lovely.
I love to watch Wiggies sleeping in his heated basket. He gets so comfortable and lets out loud groans every now and then to let everyone know how content he is.

Holding hands with your cat...that's adorable.

Definitely in the evenings, especially in winter. They all snuggle in with me while I'm watching a movie or reading a book. I pet and love all of them and they purr. The dogs are also there so it's quite a crew I have on the sofa at night I wouldn't have it any other way

It looks like the common denominator for favorite time with your cats is when everybody is relaxing. I enjoy my walks in the garden with my crew. They're all over the place, running, playing, climbing. Then when I sit on the bench, they all gather around and rest with me. There's always a contest on who will sit on mommy, so my lap gets pretty dusty after a while.

With 8 cats, there are a lot of rituals and really sweet routines/moments Gary and I look forward to with each of the kitties. But the one that touches me the most is Chumley, probably because he's the most recent rescue (even though he's been here almost 3 years now!). He's still not in love with hands, but does have the deepest, rumbliest purr - and he purrs a LOT now. It's just usually when I pet him with my head. :lol3:

BUT.... he often sleeps on my pillow (well, the pillow that's for the cats that's just above the pillow I use :lol3: ). I'll reach my hand up (Billy's under my arm, acting as an arm rest LOL), and set it on the pillow, near his head. He'll reach out his paw, and set it on my hand, and we fall asleep that way. :heart2:
