knowing this breed

this is my cool cat moocow he is a rescue i found him in a broken down cars wheel well after hurrican irene in VT when he was just bearly able to walk but as you can tell now he is doing just fine lol... i am curious if anyone could possibly spot the breed he is i was told by some friends that they think he may be a mainecoon because he is so large ( 18 lbs at 11 months old ) he im not really sure seeing on how i am no cat expert. can someone please shed some light on this mystery cat

those are 2 more of the 4 cats we have. black one panther and tiger stripped juniper

He's a brown mackeral tabby and white domestic shorthair, no breed.  Only about 3% of cats are pedigree cats, and they come from breeders with papers to prove what they are. 

Maine Coons are a naturally derived long haired breed so some domestic longhairs can resemble the breed without having any pedigree blood in them. This cat is a short hair, and as said no breed. 

18lbs? Woowww, that's a huge cat!
Like others said, he can't be a Maine Coon since he isn't long haired, but you sure have one unique cat!!
