I have tried having 2 litter boxes in separate rooms and the one will get used and the other will get destroyed.  Not sure if it is my kids or the cats doing it.  But my kids say they aren't, but you know kids they don't always tell the truth especially if they will get in trouble.  But all the litter gets thrown out of the other box.  so I took it out.

Well to keep you all updated......still no babies but I know it is going to be any day now because last night she woke me up trying fit under my dresser (which is where she had her first litter).  I decided the laundry basket bed was too cramped for her and therefore not much room for the babies.  So I cleaned out my large square cabinet end table that I use as a bedside table in my room.  and I put her sleeping bag in there and rolled up two sheets and put them in the front so that the babies can't fall out while rooting around.  it is only about 2 inches off of the ground which makes it easier for her to get in and out of (unlike the laundry basket that she had to jump into).  I have one side of the cabinet open so she is able to get in and out and the other side closed so that she has darkness and privacy.  I then moved her food and water next to her new bed.  I am still trying to convince my husband to let me put a litter box in there but he is dead set on "NO!".  So who knows.  But she is spending A LOT of time in her new little cubby and so that makes me happy.  I am just really anxious and excited for her to have the babies and be able to see and hear them.  She is still walking around the house a lot and sleeping in different areas of the house like the kitchen floor when it is cool and in front of the heater when she is cold I guess and her favorite is on one of my kitchen chairs.  No place she can make a nest thank god.  But all night and for about 1/3 of the day she is in her nest.  So I am assuming she is walking like pregnant women do to calm the babies and induce birth.  Not sure but that is my theory.  So hopefully I will be able to post on here in the next few days that she had the babies and that they are healthy and happy.

Good luck! I am very impatiently waiting on my Molli to have her babies and the anticipation is killing me! She has had symptoms that have come and gone and then come back again. It is very nerve wracking! She went on a wild streak today and was all over the house. Now she has calmed down and is sleeping. Maybe by the end of this weekend the wait will be over for both of us!

Mollismama,

That is how my Onyx is doing.  She has been waking me up EVERY NIGHT with symptoms and I want to be there for her but once I am awake I can't tend to fall back to sleep easily so I have been losing a lot of sleep.  It seems like she has her symptoms mostly at night.  But every once in a while I can feel small contractions during the day.  I hope by the end of the weekend we will both be new grandma's to our baby's babies.

Molli is the exact opposite, she has hers during the day and sleeps all night. Watch Molli will have hers at night and your Onyx will have them during the day LOL

That would be my luck.  But yours will start showing signs during the day and finally have them at night so you have to stress and worry over it forever.  Mine will wake me up in the middle of the night and show signs but not actually have the babies until later in the day.  I just hope they come soon for both of our sanity. lol

Lol, I vote for sanity! Molli has been breathing really fast off and on tonight, but not panting. I was thinking it was time til I realized it was every time there was new smell around. She did it when my daughter sprayed perfume, when I took dinner out of the oven, then when I made coffee. Guesses that explained the "heavy breathing" nothing more than sniffing :/

Man that is insanity.  Poor molli.  Onyx keeps like making squeaky noises.....?  Don't know what that is about but it is mainly when she is trying to purr.  She is not able to barely she starts to and then starts squeaking during her breathes.  But stops when she is not being petted on.  She refuses to lay on her belly at all.  she lays on her side and finds a way to prop one of her legs slightly up like a pregnant woman would do......it's kinda cute but I feel bad for her at the same time.  Then she will be laying on my lap and I will feel her babies beating her up from the inside and then everything will go still and she will have a contraction.  This has been happening for the past few days.  But the contractions are far and few in between.  Then in the middle of the night she will wake me up breathing all hard and kinda panting and I will get all excited and get out of bed.  The moment I do that she looks at me and stops then walks into the kitchen and gets a drink......even though there is water RIGHT NEXT to her nest.  I swear she is holding them in on purpose.  I am going crazy.

It is driving me crazy too! At least I have you to talk to while we wait :) Onyx sounds like she is giving you the run about too. I'm not sure about the squeaks while purring, but the propping her leg up sounds promising! Molli had me up til 12 am. She would meow at me every time I moved in bed like saying "common! Get up w me!" Very frustrating. She only ate one little nibble of food today so I have my fingers crossed! She was a wild child yesterday. I think she was trying to do acrobatics, then slept all day today. Molli does the same w her water. If I get up in the middle of the night she followed to the kitchen and drinks out of the bowl she has in there. I hope they both have their babies soon! Have you been able to see any discharge? I keep checking Molli. My partner thought I was crazy until I explained to him what I was doing. LOL Here is to another day almost gone of total insanity!

Well the green mucus that this forum was started about was the first discharge.  The dr said that was vaginitis but that it could also have been the first signs and discharge.  Then I have seen her licking herself at least 4 times a day so I am guessing that is from discharge since she never does that.  She hates her tail touched so I am unable to check for anything.  If you try to lift her tail she pulls away and claws and bites.  so I stopped trying to check.

The squeaks while purring might just be because she is very pregnant.  The fact that her meow is not totally developed either doesn't help things.  She actually quacks not meows but in a cute way.  Then on top of that she has a baby sized voice so even when she was in heat she was barely able to be heard and not heard at all if the TV was on.  I guess that is a good thing.  But there are some little noises that trigger me to wake up and her itty bitty meow when she is pregnant is one of them.  And then the little grunts and squeals from babies (human/cat/dog) are another one.  Or my bedroom door opening up or rather ANY door in my house opening or closing other than the bathroom for some reason.  I guess that is good because my kids will never be able to sneak out of the house but annoying because my husband works over night and comes home very early in the morning and scares the heck out of me.

I saw about the vaginitis. Glad you got that figured out. The pyo missymotus was talking about sounds scary! From what I have read discharge doesn't show until 24-12 hrs before birth. Molli is getting sick of me checking and decided to scratch me yesterday. I have stopped. The quacking sounds adorable! Molli still sounds like a baby, just little mews. I am the same way with animals and doors and kids! How many do you have and how old? I have 3. My oldest is 10, middle is 8 , youngest is 5. My poor boy is stuck in the middle of two outgoing prissy girls. My man works 2nd shift, I might be scared if I lived in a bigger town, but it is so quiet here. We don't have hardly any crime, the last time anyone got in trouble was when a few teenagers broke into the corner store last summer. Molli is still awake at 1am so I decided to stay up and wait for my partner to come home. It's kind of funny how your life starts to revolve around your baby when they are pregnant.

Well I hope that they both have the discharge and babies soon because I am tired.  But it doesn't help that I have a son that decides to stay up all night either.  BTW I have 3 children as well my oldest Alley is 10 just turned in october (she lives with her dad though), My middle daughter is 7 will be 8 in july, My son is 6 but will be 7 in April, I know that the only other birth I have gone through with her was her very first and technically she showed no signs and then just dissappeared one day in my house.  I looked everywhere and found her under the dresser with one baby......that is all she had.  I am pretty sure she is only having 2 this time because that is all I can feel........and they are huge.  She is this little itty bitty prissy kitty and usually she looks anorexic or something but she is healthy (vet checked her that way) and it is just her body build.  I told my husband I wish I had her metabolism because she has her kittens and then Boom she is back to skinny........I had my oldest and gained 90lbs and the moment she turned 2 I just dropped all my weight back to 120lbs.  Then I got pregnant with my middle and gained 60lbs and within the 6 week period after I got pregnant with my son and gained another 30lbs..........now I am 220lbs and can't seem to lose any of it and my body is destroyed.  Oh well they are worth it......lol.  And you are right it is funny how our world starts to revolve around our baby when they are pregnant.

Fingers crossed she delivers OK if they are big and she is small.
This is not her first litter but rather her 10th or so
Am so glad you plan spaying her after this pregnancy.  You probably will be as well after all the waiting and not knowing.  BTW she can get pregnant again very soon after delivery if you let her out.

Oh yes I know........I will be watching her very closely and keeping her inside.  She is really only really wants outside when she is in heat and she really doesn't try all that hard.  She tends to just sit at the door meowing.  Once I get my tax return.......hopefully the babies will be born........I will be going and prepaying the spaying cost and setting a date.  Since she will be 7 in june she really only goes into heat about twice a year......I guess I am lucky.  But I will definitely be spaying her.......I mean heck if I can be fixed so can she....lol

How is she doing today? Molli has been pacing a bit, but just played down for a nap. She has had a few nibbles. Still not the appetite she had before but she is not acting sick so I am not overly concerned.

No actually she only has been h=going into heat about 2 times a year for the past 2 years.  So I am guessing it will continue.
