Grey hair question..:P

Hi!

My big white cat was a stray before. When my grandma took him in he already had grey hair on top of his head an slightly on his neck...? Is this normal or is it sign of something bad?? I mean, we have taken him to the vet various times and he hasn't said anything about his grey hair lol!!! I was wondering because I've never really seen a cat with a patch of grey hair...

Our kitten, Tazo, is an orange tabby with one, very very small, gray spot on her side. We thought she was male until a recent vet visit. I didn't think cats could have so much of one color, then suddenly - a small isolated spot of a different color. So, it sounds pretty normal to me.
