Interesting.  Let us know the final outcome....if they ever make a decision one way or the other
.  If it drags on like every other decision of this sort, it's be 20 or 30 years!

But my heart does go out to the family.  Same thing happened here in Phx, and the dog was only there for about 8 hours.  When they went down to pay and get him out, it was already too late
(paperwork error)

How awful for that family. If sentimental value can be used in court for material objects, I don't see why pets can't have at least the same standard. What a sad case.
