Assuming surgery for Cindy still remains a good option, we have a choice between a vet that uses laser surgery and one that uses conventional.  At the moment, I'm leaning toward the laser surgery, but I thought I would pose the question on here to see if there are pros and cons I should consider.

Laser surgery is less invasive and usually has a quicker recovery time.  Also, it's been my experience that docs who do laser surgery also use dissolvable stitches & surgical glue so there's not a follow up needed to remove stitches.  I prefer laser surgery, but the other has worked for eons of years, too.

If there's a choice, I would take the laser surgery too. As Stephanie said, there's usually a quicker recovery time.

Thank you.  I'm definitely favoring laser surgery, but since I had an option of two very good vet clinics, I thought I'd see if anyone had a good reason to NOT go laser.
