My work has offered to pay for me to take some graphic classes, primarily learning the programs in Adobe Creative Suite 6. We were trying to determine if I should just go to a local college or take online classes and we've decided for me to go online; the campuses around here aren't offering the newer programs. I start tomorrow and will roam from course to course until I've covered the software fairly well. I will be staying after work 2-3 times a week, probably for 2-3 hours a night.

Anybody ever hear of lynda.com? It's a nice program and I think I'll enjoy it. We've signed me up for one year.

I'm rather excited! I loved learning the ins and outs of Paint Shop Pro and I had a great time with that program. Adobe has a much steeper learning curve; at least I think so. I was talking to my graphics buddy (and one of my dearest, dearest friends) the other night and she says she knows I can do this. And I think she kind of wishes she could do it with me.

Wish me luck....I'm so going to need it.

Sounds like fun! I've considered taking a Photoshop class before.

Pam, I'm sure you will have no problem learning this new program.  You've been so good learning others so you should have no problems now.  Good luck and hope you enjoy it.
