Got a tom cat that comes in nearly every night through the catflap eats the other 3 cats food, sprays and then leaves. It's started making our house smell dreadful.

Can't lock the Catflap because of the other 3 cats. The other three cats have all been spayed.

What should I do???
Only one of the three cats stand up to him (smallest one)

I have no idea where it comes from.

Please help.

Could you try to trap the tom cat and get him neutered?  That might stop the spraying.

And maybe move the food outside for the tom cat, and keep some inside for your other cats?

Is this your tomcat or a stray that just helps himself to the food?

In the other forum for ferales and strays, there is at this moment a quite similiar thread...

One problem is, I presume this is traumatizing for your own cats, having a hostile foreigner coming in, spraying, perhaps beating them up, and eating their food...

So nice if you can help him by neutering and giving food, but in a way, the most important is if you help your residents...

are you sure he is homeless, or do you think he does belong somewhere, and raids you when he takes he walks on foot?

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!
