What a wonderful site. You came up searching for premature kittens.

I suspect my teeny Bee-Bee ( as he is called, might be premature.

He is now 15 days old. He was only 60g born and plumeted to 56 grams within the first 24 hours, struggling to feed and being less than half the birth weight of his other litter mates. He is a Burmese Male cat.

I screamed out offering to foster him and the rest is history.

These past two weeks have had so many ups and downs, finally today he has opened his eyes, he drinks well, feeds 2 hourly day and night ( ohh the wrinkles lol) and every minute and milestone brings me such joy.

He spent the first week down in my cleavage to help keep him warm, now he alternates between there and a heated mat.

My facebook album is set as public. I ahve added a few photos . Just wanted to share .

Keep up the most wonderful efforts. this site is fantastic.

Ah, using the cleavage!  Nice tip!

I hope it will proceed well!   If real premature I dont know, it depends on how the others are, and on the lengh of the mating session.

You saw our articles on Premature kittens?   And other sites who write about orphaned and or prematured?

There is one at Fabcats, another on Messybeats, a third is on www.kitten-rescue-com.

You can google, otherwise I will google for you.    :)

I will also ask a mod to move this tread into the Preg and Kitten-care forum.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!
