Hi I recently joined this site. I am Mom to 2 wonderful cats-jimbob ad mary ellen!! Jimbob has fhl and we are in the 3rd week of force feeding at home. Mary ellen is a 5 year old tortie.this seems like a great place for cat lovers!!!

for jimbob to make a speedy recovery

hi to everyone and thanks for all your well wishes  for my jimbob.It has been very emotional but it is getting better as he improves. At first it was so sad because I thought I was going to lose him. Every morning I would look for him and would be so happy when I saw he was still alive!He is doing better. I got his second blood test back today- 2 weeks ago he was 8.9 and now he is 1.9!!!!!! Even the vet was surprised at his improvement after only 2weeks!! I do give him milk thistle drops-1 drop for every lb of body weight. I know it helped. Now he just needs to eat more on his own. He is eating a little bit of canned food and some dry food, but not enough- I still have to feed him.I pray he keeps improving!!!

Hi thanks for your well wishes!!! No I don't have any pictures of Mary Ellen yet as I haven't had her for long. I adopted her from petsmart.she is a beautiful tortoise who likes to talk a lot!! I will try to get a picture of her on here when I can.

hi, thanks very much for yor thoughts on jimbob's health. He is doing ok, but he still does not eat enouh on his own.I still have to forcefeed him to get him to eat... I hope he starts to eat more....
