Hello all!!

First of all i would like to thank the owners for making this forum.

I have a 4 years old female cat, she never leave homes and its very wealthy all her live.

Like 4 months ago, my cat showed some injures in her belly, i took her to the vet and sayed it was some kind of moskito sting, the vet injected something and it finished.

3 weeks ago, it started again, i took her to the vet and injected again, but this time didnt stop and i dont know what it could be, i uploaded a foto of her belly showing the injures.

Please if someone has any idea of what could it be, i will appreciate a lot.

Thank you very much.

Hi Nazzara.  Welcome to TCS!

That doesn't look like a mosquito bite at all. Did your vet test her for ringworm? (It's not a worm, its a fungal infection). Ringworm is annoying and itchy and should be treated but not a serious health problem.

I would try a different vet and ask to test for ringworm.

I hope she's better soon.

Hello and welcome to the site. I am sorry your cat is having this problem. I hope you will get another opinion. It does look like ringworm to me.
