I can't believe I actually had fun watching the news today.
First saw that Opus is making a return to comics. Woooohoooooo! My favorite little penguin! Mr. Breathed(the creator) says that he's going to steer away from politics and just have fun with it. Only thing that could make my Sunday mornings more fun now is for Calvin and Hobbes to come back. I still miss that strip.
Then saw my new role model. This lady was celebrating her 100th birthday in style. Her family(the ladies anyway) treated her to a night on the town. They rode in a limo to the local strip club! In the interview with the news crew she attributed her long life to not worrying too much. When asked which discovery she enjoyed the most(having seen the introduction of the automobile, television and airplane) she refused to comment saying it was personal!
It was so nice enjoying the news for once. I know the above stories are considered "fluff" but enjoyable non-the-less.
