Lots of postings lately for syringe feeding. Is there a way a sticky can be started with information, videos, etc on the subject?

Is there a particular thread you have in mind? It's definitely a worthy topic and I'll add it to my list of articles to add, but that could take a while. If you can think of a certain thread that's very helpful, I'll be glad to add it to our stickies.

It may also be worth to mention tube feeding.  We dont recommend it for newbees, as it is dangerous if you dont exaclty know what you do.  Thus, usually I dont even mention it.

But in itself it is a potent life (and time and work) savior.

I think tube feeding is best left for experts, i.e. vets. It often involves sedation and should never be done at home without veterinary supervision. I'd rather not provide any guidance for it here :)

Still waiting for links to "authority" threads about syringe feeding, if you have any. :)

That's a great idea!  I've syringed for almost a decade PRN.  Had a cat with FLUTD and PU, and the only way to treat and keep him with dilute urine was syringing.  Further, it is important to syringe after any pilling.

Now, I have two new cats, and boycat needs some meds, natch, and syringing!
