Have to keep Binky in the house and he doesn't like it. I'm very sick right now and I can risk him bringing other strays to my front porch.

He has to get use to me and then he'll realize it was a better deal, always water, dry food and 2 cans of food a day.

I need to get over this flu, I been running around for the last 3 days and I'm risking Pneumonia. DR. called me personally today

and gave me hell. Told me The cat would be fine. So I canceled the exam for him until Tuesday, oh yeah I dislocated my should

and my neck and should has swollen up. so I'm not having a good new year. So I just fed Binky and he is sleeping very relaxingly

lol, I'll try and let him sleep as long as possible, and then in about 10 hours I'll feed him and put plenty of water and dry food out, plus clean

litter box and try and sleep 12 hours myself. So we are both in miserable moods. So wish me and Binky luck. We have  a few rough weeks

together. Thanks for all the advice everyone

Sometimes we have to be the adult in the relationship with our cats, and do for them something that they would prefer we not do, whether it's keeping them in the house, taking them to the vet, neutering them, whatever.  I've never had any luck explaining these things to a cat, so I just do it, knowing it's the right thing.  They may never appreciate it, but I will for the next 15 years, having them cuddle up with me!

Get well soon. I feel for you I know what it's like to have the flu - it's like getting hit by truck almost

Yeah I said to myself "he'll get over it" cats don't know any better. As long as they get good food in their stomach, a nice warm place to sleep.

He makes it a point to come close to me, if I go to pet him he moves away and turns his back to me, unless I'm getting his food ready , then he

is my best friend and after he is done he lays on my bed as far away from me as possible.it will get easier.

Thank you, right now I'm in that  "I think I'm getting better feeling", ya know appetite, I crave vinegare potato chips with hot sauce on them. lol weird huh?. Plus chocolate and coke/Pepsi. Luckily have a well stocked home. I'm going to feed Binky about 4:00, an make me some beef broth with raw onion and hard rolls, take my meds and go to sleep. Shutting off my bedroom phone, call my mom , tell her I'm going for a long long sleep. My resistance is to low. that should make me feel a little better.

Don't be surprised if Binky decides to play nursemaid.
Yeah he doesn't want nothing to happen to me, he also could be sad that I'm moving very slow and my nose is clogged etc... It funny because I see him leave  the room and then when I lok at the other side of the bed he seems to appear , lol. It's my fading, I was snoring the one time and he was sitting on my side staring at me. I loked up and said "Hi Binky" and he jump over to his side and laid down. I know one thing he has some really bad gas, peeeeyuuuuuuu. I'm glad my nose is clogged, I'd be in really bad shape if my nose was open, lol

Sounds like binky wants to make sure your ok and not lonely
I feel much better today, I slept until 3:00pm, almost 20 hours. But I felt great. Nose got unclogged, no wheezing, no chills.

Woke up though and heard lots of "meowing". one hungry kitty, lol
