Thanks for being a wonderful cat, Tigger. We will see you on the other side.

Today, my cat Tigger passed on after 16 years.  Despite his age, Tigger had always been active and energetic.  It was easy to forget that he was 16 years old.  Unfortunately, his health deteriorated in a matter of days and he passed on while sleeping in one of his favorite places.  I am happy that he did not suffer, but it is always hard to say "see you later" to good friends no matter who they are.

Thanks for the good times and great memories, Tigger.  I'll be looking for you on the other side when my time comes.

My condolences. It must be so hard to part with him after so many years, even if his peaceful passing is a consolation. , Tigger.

I'm so sorry you've lost your kitty. It's by no means ever easy to lose a furry loved one, but it sounds to me like you gave him a perfect life, from beginning to end. Even humans can only hope that, when each of us much face the end of our lives, we can do so peacefully and in our sleep. Tigger could not have asked for a better human or a better life. I don't know how much of a consolation my words will be, but your kitty was very lucky to have you as his human.
