My daughter brought home this tiny kitten on boxing day ....the woman told her she was 7 weeks old...I didn't think so cause to me she was very tiny....Come to find out was 5.5 weeks old...the woman did the math wrong or just wanted them gone...The kitten is  doing very well...except I saw a flea on her last night....she will be 7 weeks old on Sat...I have the kitten revolution but I dont ever recall using it on such a young kitten...so I am alittle concerned...But now I will also have to treat all my pets for fleas since she hasa brought them in the house...4 cats and 2 dogs :( Just wanted to run it by here first before I did anything ...

The pump-action Frontline spray is OK for kittens as young as 2 weeks.  8 weeks for Revolution so far as Google could tell me.  Ring your vet?

I would not use it- I believe that it says to wait until 8 weeks to use revolution, but I may be wrong.  When we found some little (about 5 week old) kittens we did not realize that they had fleas until several days later.  I only saw a couple of them, but did not want to risk infesting the house.  The advice I was given was to bathe them in Dawn dish soap.  There were two very angry kittens, but it seemed to do the job.  We washed the towels in their room, threw away their blanket, and there was not a problem after that.  None of our other animals showed any other signs of fleas.

When I got Stella (~6 week old feral kitten scooped out of the bushes) I wanted to make sure that she didn't have fleas.  To be honest I was kind of scared of this hissing and spitting creature in the cardboard box, so I scooped her up with an oven mitt, tossed the angry ball of fury into the sink, and washed her with the Dawn.  Strangely enough, unlike the friendly non-feral kittens, she calmed right down when soaking wet
Had no flea problems with her afterwards either.
