This seems like a good time of year to ask this...

Do you know your limits and stop when you need to? Or do you push through and keep going because there's so much to do?

I used to never stop working and doing, didn't even hardly sleep. When I was a kid, we were taught to work through pain and even if we were ill (we were treated like little slaves). Even up until a few years ago, I would clean house when I was sick... I thought I'm going to feel sick anyway might as well have a clean house.

But getting older has put a stop to that. Now my body breaks down and says, "no more" and no amount of will can keep it going so I have to rest. It's not even an option any more my body makes me stop!

I've learned with age when to stop. My middle-aged body just can't be pushed like it used to. I used to be able to go 8 or 10 years without a sick day, but the last couple of years I've averaged two or three a year.

a few years ago do not put me limits...:indiff: just work work and work....:indiff: until I meet a Job that make me feel soo miserable in Job aspects...:disa: I have to thanks to God for put me in a situation that I can choose where I want to work like now...:hugs:

My recomendation is alwas... just look how you visualize in a 5 years coming...and if you like how you looks run for that.....I choose for the stability of my home no matter we have some needs about many "things" that at final are not really necesary at the moment....:hugs:

Great Question Kat!...:bigthumb:
