I've had my cat Quinn since start of September, she's about 7 months old now and had all of her vaccinations/been desexed and is 100% healthy. The problem is that my (irresponsible) brother decided he'd adopt one of his friends 8 week old kittens, which has never seen a vet at all. He said he'd take it in the first week, but alas, 1 month on and he still hasn't.

He wormed it with some paste and sprayed it with a flea spray or something (it didn't have fleas or worms, as far as we know anyway), and it doesn't appear to be sick at all. My cat also seems as healthy as she always has been. I'm just worried about whether or not it could have some hidden infection/disease and infect my cat, I don't know, maybe I'm being paranoid but I'm just concerned for both of their welfare.

I don't think you're being paranoid assuming your brother's cat lives with you and your cat.  I'd be worried too.

I noticed you live in Australia.  I don't know what flea sprays are available there, but here in the USa, over the counter flea spray can cause problems, including death.  Worms go in cycle within the cat's body, so just because you don't see/smell evidence of worms, doesn't mean your brother's cat doesn't have it.  Or that your cat isn't about to get it (especially if they share litter boxes).

Were I you, I'd offer to take your brother's cat to the vet for at least the basics--FIV/FeLK testing and possible deworming.

And if your brother's cat isn't desexed, then get on his case about that (and, check into low cost spay/neutered clinics).

Now, if your brother & his cat doesn't live with you, then you needn't worry.  FELK and FIV aren't catching without very close, sometimes intimate, contact.

If it was my brother, I would offer to take the kitten to the vet for him. Since the kitten was eight weeks old at the time of adoption and he has had her for one month, I'm guessing that the kitten is about twelve weeks old? The kitten should definitely be taken to the vet for FIV/FeLV, and have a fecal exam to determine if she has internal parasites. I hope the kitten does well as does your kitty! I'm positive that this kitten will not have anything that will be contagious to your cat, but it's always best to err on the side of caution.

All flea and worming products are OTC over here, ferals and seeing a vet for worming is uncommon and unnecessary

She is overdue for vaccinations though, F3 if she's indoor and discuss others if outdoor access. Vaccines are given at 8 & 12 weeks, she can be desexed from 1kg in weight (which she should be over by now) and microchipped at the same time - though some states require chipping & vaccinating before rehoming
