Christy likes to watch me crochet. And paw at the yarn. And lie on the blankets. And in the blankets. Right now, she and a half-finished winter hat are lying on my lap. In my house, most of the blankets have cat hair on them long before they're even finished!
A finished afghan lies draped across my chair... Christy promptly uses it as a hiding place.
"What? All small places in this apartment belong to me. Why else would you create a brand-new small place?"
Half-made blankets can be a wonderful place to snuggle when the weather's cold. What, the human has to move turn the blanket around to begin the next row? Well, it'll just get more comfortably wrapped around the kitty!
Christy got so involved in my making this hat that I missed some stitches and made it eight stitches too small for my head. So, in revenge, I put the hat on Christy and photographed her before unraveling the five rows with the mistakes in them!
Hey, if she's going to be so interested in what I'm doing, the least I can do is let her model things, right? :lol3:
