Two very pretty boys!

Dust CAN cause you trouble.  However, if you get a clean cloth (like a microfiber towel), get it damp (not wet), and rub the cats down with it, you can reduce the dander that is the allergen most people have trouble with.  You can do this daily, and those who do say it helps a lot.

Thanks for looking and your comments. mrblanche thanks for your advice I will try that. I do have allergies to dust as well as pollen and dogs etc etc.I have heard that using distilled water on their coats can work well too with a cloth.

Allergies from the litter box? I bet you are using one of those annoying scented litters. Some "unscented" litters even have perfumes in them... Find something truly unscented, and both you and the kittens will be happier for it, I promise! I'm not allergic to perfumes myself, but the smell is impossible for me to ignore and ends up giving me headaches. I can't understand why humans persist in making cat litters that smell so abominably artificial-flowery. Uggh!

How long have these two known each other? They're already snuggling! How cute!

Thanks for the replies . Sadly we had to rehome Marble Cake. We had him only a day or two and my hubby nearly had an asthma attack. When we had brought him home in the car I noticed my allergy was worse than with Mittens in fact he hardly bothers me but Marble Cake had a severe reaction on my husband. We found him a home with a man and his daughter that lost their kitten on xmas day. He had run out the door and got hit by a car. So it is a happy ending anyway.I dont like to let an animal go but sometimes our health is more important.

We dont use scented litter and never have . I found a ground wheat litter and no dust and just fantastic.
