Happy New Year!

I'm still filling in for Lauren. Hopefully her move is going well! :cross: :vibes:

What is the furthest you have travelled from home?

I've been to Ireland.

I've been as far east as Venice, Italy, as for north as Stockholm, Sweden (broke my wrist there), as far west as Hawaii, as far south as Cartagena and the Panama Canal.

Not very far! I lived on the east coast and made it to California. Lol

I plan to travel more though!

How far from home? I lived in Japan but that WAS home! :lol3: We had a long layover in Alaska once when we were trying to come to the U.S., and I think we once stopped in Korea to refuel. Didn't go anywhere else while living there (except Okinawa, but that's part of Japan).

Since I've lived here I've gone to California, New York, and Florida. Quick jumps into Mexico and Canada, just over the borders.

Italy would the farthest, but since I lived there I don't know if it counts.  In the USA, I would say New Orleans.  That's a pretty far jump from here.

I went to Europe back in the 80's.  Italy, Spain (twice) Yugoslavia.  It was a tour from the company I worked for at the time. Oh yeah, I went to Canada, both sides

I forgot to mention I have been to many of the provinces of Canada, as far as Newfoundland, Edmonton (man, that's a long ways up there!), British Columbia, and up the coast to Alaska.  As far north in Alaska as Kotzebue (just north of the Arctic Circle), and then down to the Kenai Peninsula and to Homer, Alaska, officially (according to Tom Bodett), the "End of the Road," "As far as you can go without a passport."

I've been down the west coast of Mexico on a cruise ship, and I've been to Roatan, Honduras, a trip I heartily recommend.  Down the east coast of Mexico on cruises, too.

All the way down Florida, but got to Key West on a cruise, several times.

All the way up the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to the northern border of Oregon.

In several of the Mexican states along the US border, driving a truck or visiting on time off from the truck.

My goal is to someday travel all the way around the US, following the roads closest to the edges of the country.

Ummmm, I've never been out of the United States (other than to Canada); it's hard to do when I won't fly. We love Canada and love to stay at the B & Bs along Niagara on the Lake.

In the US, I've been south to the Florida Keys, north to Maine (Jay, where we participated in a rally during a paper mill strike....big union supporters here), east as far as Iowa and then up into northern Minnesota. East to the Virginia shore.

Los Angeles, CA ... I live in Charleston, SC. Took a cross country road trip in 2010 right after I got the Mustang. Went almost 7,000 miles in 2 weeks and hit 21 states.

I've also been to the Caribbean and Canada, but I'm pretty sure both those locations are closer than the 3,000 miles LA was.
