Right now I'm a little worried, I felt bad for "Binks" tonight, he was crying to go out, So I thought he'd go on the porch and come back.
As we speak, Blinky refuse to eat dry food if I'm sleeping. The first day (3 weeks ago) he ate stale crackers and cheese, I don't and never owned a pet, so it was "take it or leave it pal", now he refuse to eat the dry food, no way. Then he threatens to leave the house and find it elsewhere then he wants to come back here to sleep. So when he goes to the door I open it and let him out, but there is a storm door, so he is in between the main door and storm door, after a few more times of this, he'll quick whining, thinking I'm not getting the message. My sister had a similar problem. She is interning now with the vet who I talk to, loves talking about animal behavior.Oh, my goodness. I feel your pain. My original cats are strictly house cats, but Blackberry and Blueberry came when the neighbors moved and left them. They are used to being outside. So I had to let Blackberry out in the cold last night. At first I ignored her crying at the door (I pretend I don't understand what she wants) but then I had to let her go. Now she is sound asleep under my bed.
