Hi everyone!
I'm Jen from Ontario, Canada. I live with 2 wonderful 3 year old cats, Nano and Gigi.
Above, Gigi is on the left and Nano is on the right.
For about a year, Gigi had a sore on his face that wasn't healing. We took him to to one vet 2 times. They weren't sure why he hadn't healed. We took Gigi to a second vet, who did surgery on him right away, cut out the sore. They said that Gigi has a rare disease that is unheard of in cats, and very very rare in dogs called Angiomatosis. I ended up joining this website because I saw another member posted in the summer that their cat had the same thing. Our vet was not able to tell us much about the disease. He is hoping that he cut out enough of the sore that it won't come back, but it is a disease that disfigures the veins, so there is a good chance that he may start bleeding again. If you look closely, you can see a small sore under Gigi's left eye (this is a picture of him before his surgery).
Nano on the right is half siamese (though you can't tell by looking at him). He has the personality of a siamese cat, with the look of a big old tabby cat. He talks a lot, and eats a lot. We got Nano when he was very young, so he thinks that he is my baby and follows me everywhere.
