Hello from Los Angeles

Hi All - I've gotten so much helpful information over the past several years from different web sites, including The Cat Site, and I finally decided to de-lurk! I shared my life with two cats over the 90s and 00s. They were my constant companions through a variety of roommates, boyfriends, jobs and many different housing situations. My boy died of cancer at 16 and my girl lived to 19 and died on the 4th of July this year. They were the best friends a girl could ask for  . After the pain of losing them, I never, ever thought I would be looking for another kitty. Probably most of us say that. I know I'll never get over them, but there are so many cats that need homes, that I am pretty sure I'll get another one soon.
