Hi,

My cat two years old. I got her from my friend this October.

My friend fed her Royal Canin dry food. My cat like it, but I DO NOT. I try to change the dry food.

Wellness Core looks good, and my cat like wellness's canned food.

Is wellness core dry food good for cats? How about their products?

Wellness is a very good brand and Wellness Core is even better.
If your cat already likes wet food, and you can afford it, you should feed her wet only, as it is much healthier. If you can not afford that much, Wellness Core dry + some occasional wet will do just fine.

And she's a very beautiful cat, what's her name? :)

Hi, ShenXM and welcome to the forum!
...you should feed her wet only, as it is much healthier...
Completely agree with Minka....wet is best...and, we each do the best we can with what we have.

ShenXM, if wet foods might be an option for you now* - or, if you want to know why we're recommending wet foods - or, if you want to know some of the health issues brought on by dry food diets....that's all on this Veterinarian's site: http://catinfo.org/

IF you will choose to use (at least some) Wellness Core dry...my choice is the fish-free http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/product-details.aspx?pet=cat&pid=132

I think, Wellness Core dry food is very very good, nutritionally . I would feed it to my domestic and exotic cat hybrids, if, the pieces (kibble) where bigger. Since, they are used to eating Evo, the Turkey and Chicken formula. However, if, you look at the link for Wellness Core, I feel you will be very satisfied. Anyway, this is the link:http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/product-details.aspx?pet=cat&pid=23#ingredients.

I recently discovered Wellness Core Grain Free Indoor Formula for adult cats. I choose to feed this to my cats as grazing food because its the only Core formula without fish. So far, they like it.

Thanks guys!

I feed my cat both dry food and wet food. I know, the wet food is better for cats than dry food. But I have to short business trip frequently, one or two days once time. When I go trip, I will ready enough food and clean water for my cat. I am afraid the wet food go bad easily. So dry food is necessity to me and my cat I think.

Until now, my cat is getting used to Wellness Core, seem she didn't like it so much. I already try other brand products, but all failed. Hope she will like wellness core finally.

To jlc20m,

I like indoor formula too, I think my cat will like it too, because it without fish. But this new formula still not sold in Chinese market.

Are you stating this because of the increased fiber and less fat? That would be my guess. Just wondering...

Decreased protein and increased carbs, which is counter intuitive to a cat's needs. Indoor cats simply need less calories. Maybe.
