I'm back from the funeral . . .

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know I got back into town this weekend from my grandfather's funeral. It was in Wisconsin. Alex didn't end up being able to come up with me. I'm gonna be really busy the next couple days, making up work, etc., but I'll try to stop by.

The funeral was nice, I guess. They gave him a 21-military salute. He was a Captain in the Navy. It was really sad, but at least lots of people came. I have one of the shells from the shots they fired at the burial.

I'm so sorry about your grandpa, Viva. I was really broken up when my mom's dad died, we were actually pretty close. (It was years and years ago now though I still think about him all the time).

It sounds like they paid him a wonderful tribute.
