mondays question of the day - christmas eve :D

So I'm all done gifts wrapped and mostly delivered. So its a nice relaxing day today, I dont news to pre cook anything as I'm at my mams for dinner tomorrow

So what's everyones routine for christmas eve?

The in-laws are coming for dinner, so I just got started on some German potato salad. Did some cleaning and gift wrapping this morning and ironed a tablecloth. The tree went up last weekend, so I don't have to worry about that.

A friend of mine has her gifts shipped here so her kids don't see them. She comes over on Christmas Eve day to wrap them and we eat, drink and be merry. :lol3: Every other year my brother has everyone over on Christmas Eve. This is the year. . I've got dips to make, a cake to frost, cookies to thaw and get started on stuffed shells before she gets here in 3-1/2 hours.

I hope he is better.  I caught some bug that will just not let go.

We didn't do much for Christmas Eve this year. Rick usually takes his mom to church services. When he gets home, we each open one small gift. And that's pretty much it. Sometimes we hang out with my sister and her husband, but this year with the snow, we just decided to stay home.
