Hi Everyone My name is Tim, I'm 45 and I was adopted by a cat, lol. I was going out about 9:00am in the morning to scrape
the ice off the windows of my car and on my porch inside folded boxes that I had interlocked was the cries of "MEOW"
but they were in cries of help. So I pulled off the tarp that the cat pulled over the box (smart cat) to keep the cold air out.
He then jumped out of the box and ran past me, then stopped look back and came back to me rubbing in and around my legs.
He started jumping at my leather gloves rubbing his head on my hand. I tried to put him in my doorway to keep warm
however he ran.
So When I returned I put cheese and crackers out on the side of my porch in case he returned. I watched on my surveilance
camera I use because I have back problems and I have a nice bed and huge coach to get relief, pain meds just don't give you the full relief.
So I keep monitors on these to see who is at the door. Well the little kitty was up there in minutes, I let him eat first, didn't like the crackers, lol. So I opened the main door and then went to the storm door , opened it and said "come on kitty, come here" and he ran right into the house.
He followed me everywhere as I was trying to find something to eat for him. I found 2 turkey burgers, so I figured i'd boil them to make them soft.
While they were cooking I gave him the rest of my cheese, expensive land o' lake American Cheese too, lol.
he of course ate it all up. then I chopped up the Turkey Burgers and ran cold water over them to cool them down.
and of course he ate all of them and drake a lotta water.
He followed me up to my bedroom where I have a computer near my bed , TV and surveillance monitor, I laid down and he jumped up on the other side and I can feel the loud PURRRRRING growllling through my bed. I had already set up a few nice blankets on that side of the king size bed and he finally laid down and actually fell asleep. for 3-4 hours he just never moved, I thought he died on me.
When he awoke he walked over to me and started rubbing against my back and I must have pet and scratched him for and hour while I was watching TV.
So now I am learning how to take care of a cat who follows me everywhere, sleeps next to me, tells me when hes hungry and everything else. like he knew me sinc he was a kitten,so since I live alone had been with many woman, was already married divorced, this is a great companion lol.
I'm in the "use the litter box" part, I don't want to let him out anymore, I'm trying to make him strictly indoor.
So thats my story and nice to meet you all, I'm sure I'll be on here very many more times, lol.
