I found this website when I was cuddling my kitten Ajax and realized my baby was missing a front tooth! I have never heard of kittens losing baby teeth before, but I have heard of puppies losing them. Naturally I was worried and Google is the response to every problem I have. I'm so glad nothing is wrong with my baby boy. His sister Ayja would be just as unhappy as me! The dog would be as well. I'm so proud of Ajax, my little 12 pound wonder kitty of muscle is losing his baby teeth! His little sister doesn't seem to be missing any, but I can't wait for her to start! I'm going to be looking everywhere for their teeth! I still have their first claw clippings! And hair clippings! I'm so excited, and SO relieved its normal. He's my baby!

Yeah, they lose them at 5-6 months of age.  Most people never notice it, unless they happen to see the "double fangs."
