hi
our local shelter is no-kill and is always over run with cats
however quite a few manage to find homes in less than a month
for some reason, this sweet boy has been there for months- at least since June, i think since early spring (they do not update their posts so you will notice it says "weeks" but i monitor their site regularly and believe me, he has been there a LOT longer!)update:i checked wiht the shelter, they said he has been there since april or may
here is his picture and info
http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?act...=1&row=0&tmpl=
i would take him myself but i just adopted a blind, deaf, elderly diabetic boy, and have one other cat, and that is all i can reasonably afford right now
i have seen Ghandi in person and he is a strikingly beautiful cat- i wonder if people just do not like the name he was given??? i can't understand why he is still there
oh, and in early October, there will be a black kitty listed who recently had a litter of kittens, she was a stray i had been feeding and trapped about a month or so ago
Her name is Stacy- she is a cutie, but will need to be in a one cat only home, most likely- as she likes to be Top Cat!!
Please if you live in the southern NH area, consider adopting Ghandi!
He's a bit of a legend you know!
