Cordyceps Cs-4 mushroom Mycelia (cordyceps sinesis [Berk]Sacc.) Pomegranate fruit extract, panax ginseng root extract. This is a formula used for vitality in humans and I would like to be sure its safe for felines.

My wild guess would be, it should be OK. Problem may be with the dosages...

What is OK for an 60 kg human or 60 kg cat is not necessarily good for a 3 kg human or 3 kg cat...

Even if the 3kg cat does have some advantage against this 3kg human, the one fully developed and adult, and the other undeveloped, fragile infant.

But you surely see my point.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

You could also pm LDG, she has some knowledge on natural & homeopathic supplements. She has helped me before. (I totally trust her)

I don't know that a vet will know unless they are a holistic vet. Most vets that aren't will only discourage it because of their lack of knowledge.

StefanZ is right, even if they are o.k. you HAVE to get the dosage right. Otherwise, I wouldn't take any chances. Good luck.

Well, that's the problem. Even if they are safe, the issue would be the dose. It'd be safer to find a holistic vet and have a consult to find something specific for your kitty, IMO. :dk:
