He reminds me of my flame point Leo who passed away last Summer. Those bewitching blue eyes, and good looks...just make McCreamy...oh-so-dreamy. He's very lucky to have found you.

Ok, I changed the videos settings to Public, hopefully it is working now

Minka, can you post a link to the latest video, of me petting him? It is sooooo cute! :heart3:

Things have been interesting with Mac..... We are making huge progress, but I can not forget where he come from, even for a second :nono:

Whiole he IS making progress, and he IS getting to trust me a bit, he does attack in fear when he gets startled, and he is fast on the charge - there is no way to tell either when he will get startled.....

So, here are the happenings:

On the diet side, he has been 100% on raw from the first meal :clap::clap::clap:
Currently I am giving him 2/3 of his meal NV and 1/3 home made, balanced - whatever meat I feed to the other kitties. So far he has had Pork, turkey, chicken and duck hearts - LOVED all meats, and had NONE digestive issues whatsoever :woohoo:

The first day he was on complete lock down - closed doors, no contact with the cats at all. He got pretty desperate though - and on the same token, from the moment he arrived, he was comfortable here - did not show any signs of stress......
So on the second day I put the baby gate up.

Oh, I forgot to say that he did have a litterbox incident on the first day - it was a brand new house, brand new litterbox, and clean litter. I simply poured litter on the top of the pee, let it soak up, collected the clump and put it in the box - he has been using the box religiously even since

A couple of nights ago he cried all night long - he either wanted to roam or was calling for me - I don't know, but the fact is, I didn't sleep :(
So, I decided that last night, for the good of the household, it was time for him to explore

I locked the three residents in my room and let him out. I tell you this is one comfident cat! He owned the house! Night was pretty peaceful, thak goodness!!! :9:

In the morning, I just walked out of my room and he happily followed me inside.... I put the baby gate up and hung out with him for a bit. That's when I got to really pet him for the first time :heart3:

Now comes the kicker - Went to the kitchen and forgot to put the second gate up - all of the sudden I hear a hiss behind me, and sure enough, there he was.
Tried to make him follow me back to the room, which he did, but somewhere along the way he got startled and attacked me - jumped on my leg paws and jaws :lol3: - he bit me, I got over it, and calmely walked with him back to the room - put the baby gate up, and went to take care of the wound

I think it will take quite a bit of work to bring this little baby around - he LOVES when I go to the room, I can tell he loves petting, but I also can tell he has a tremendous fear of people :bawling:
I hope one day he can trust all of us, and gets to relax and be happy..... He deserves it..... For now we will just keep showering him with love..... That's all we can do

Here he is behind the baby gate:

My favorite video is the first one, of him rolling around on the bed. He knows he's Forever home. Congratulations to all of you Carolina. Is his name Mac? Or do you think he's hiding another name that he will let you know what it is when he is ready?

I believe she named him "McDreamy" from Grey's Anatomy.  "Mc" or "Mic" is the shortened version.

He is really something special :heart3:
I am falling in love with him, and all I want is for him to feel loved, welcomed, safe and know that he can trust all of us. I will do my best for him to have that here

We had another love fest tonight :clap::clap::clap: I started petting him at dinner time, and afterwards he just stayed close to me purring a storm and rubbing all over.... Sooooo nice :heart3:
When he was done with, he jumped on the bed and gave me the sweetest blinking eyes
The bed is still very much his territory - I am very careful approaching him there... He has attacked a few times in there....

Gail, his name is McCreamy. Used to be McGrumpy, but I decided to give him a happier name - McCreamy is a play on McDreamy..... and I think it is cute with his cream color :D

I don't know the McDreamy term you guys are talking about, but I heard you calling him Mac, in one or two of the videos, is why I asked. He really is a special boy. :heart3:

Don't know anything about it. :)

When we were kids we (my sisters and brother and I) used to put "Mc" in front of everything to make fun of McDonalds though. We thought we were hilarious, though now of course I realize we probably weren't being as original as we thought. :lol3:

Aww, what a sweet boy. I finally saw the video, but just the one linked above.

McCreamy, That's great!   (When Angel gets an attitude, (which isn't to often,)  I call him McSassy!

Aww, I just want to hug that fluffy boy.  I'm sure the other cats come to his door to check things out.  What do they think?  I always enjoy that part of the introductions...watching growls and hisses turn to curiosity (aided by lots and lots of treats, of course.)
