Ok so those that know me know I raised kush since 2 weeks old. I now have adopted two more cats who are 6 months and 7 months. We are all one big happy family now including my pit bull and they drive me crazy playing...anywho...

Kush has always been on Evo and I have never noticed her poo being any outstandingly horrible smell. Since getting the new cats I have upgraded them all to blue buffalo and they STINK!!! I mean I can smell them pooping from another room and I literally want to vomit (sorry). I just cleaned out their three litter boxes because its garbage night and kush went poo in the one I just cleaned so I scooped it again. The minute I was done she pooed AGAIN! So I scooped again and she pooed yet again. They're not runny or a bad consistency just disgusting smelling and so are the other cats poos.

And they eat SO much. I fill up 6 bowls of food a day between the three of them. The one cat was fat when I got him but doesn't seem to be gaining any extra weight. The two female cats are still slender. Their fur is shiny and soft. Been to the vet and health is great. But they drink and eat and pee and poo ALL DAY AND NIGHT NON STOP. I thought higher quality food was supposed to mean less eatin and less pooping and less smellier poop? I'm having to scoop three litter boxes multiple times a day and they smell god awful. I've tried fresh step, easy scoop, cats pride, and a few others...I'm at a loss.

Anyone have any thoughts or experiences? I'm havin to dump entire litter pans every other day if not every day and I just can't afford this much litter for such stinky butts!

My 2 cats used to have bowel issues. Luke had extremely smelly BMs, I mean it was so bad I'd wannt to open the windows to air the place out. Cubby had diarrhea when he first came here. Both cats now have little to no odor to their BMs, because I feed them raw SADiet. It took Cubby a few weeks or eating raw to get over the D. I think cats have smelly poo because they are not meant to digest things like corn and soy and other things added to kibble, even the more expensive ones. Even Paul Newman organic canned cat food didn't help Cubby's D. It took raw meats to do it.
