Over run w/ cats

This neighborhood would be a cat neighborhood... Right now there are 3 grown females, each of them have a litter now. and over 5 males. Also some cats that are wild come and go and all of them are mostly black, if not all .But the real prob iz my neighbors... a family used to move then come bak, then move and come bak, any way each time they wood take a cat w/ them and when they came bak, the cat was either dead or it ran away from them. i dont like them at all, and they clame all the cats, but they dont feed them really at all, but everyone has a fav. cat here... But i am attached to them and dont wanna c them leave

Are there any low-cost spay/neuter programs in the area? Any other people in the neighborhood willing to help? The cats all need to be spayed/neutered so they'll be healthier and the population will stabilize.

If the neighbors keep coming and going, how can they claim all the cats? It sounds like you have a feral colony there. Who is feeding them? Do you have anyone in the area who does TNR? Your local shelter may be able to point you in the right direction to get help trapping the cats and getting them spayed and neutered.
