My question to you, have you been to your vet to have his eyes looked at? If not, that's the absolute first thing you have to do. Depending on your vet's diagnosis you may also have to take him to a veterinary ophthalmologist for further testing and advice.

The best, safest thing you can do at this point is to make an appointment to see your vet as soon as possible.

PS

With eye problems, the most important thing is to try to prevent blindness. So prompt medical attention when something is wrong is of utmost importance because any delay in treatment can have the most serious consequences.

So please don't wait, call your vet first thing tomorrow morning and get an emergency appointment for your kitty.

Whenever you see that white 'thing' which is a cat's third eyelid, that's an indication that all is not well with your kitty and a trip to the vet is in order.

As Stephanie said, the third eyelid showing is an indication that your kitty doesn't feel well. It's not necessarily an eye problem. It could be a UTI or URI or anything that makes him feel sick. You say he doesn't seem to be in pain, but cats are very good at hiding their pain. In any case, a visit to the vet is indicated.

Sending lots of :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: for your kitty.
